McIntosh Theater; March 22, 2008In addition to recording ‘Are You Experienced?’, I developed Jordan Henry’s Hendrix-inspired effect setup for tuba. The effects [distortion, octave, pitch shifting, delay, reverb, fuzz] were controlled live with footpedals on stage and in the audience.

Hired as the producer/sound engineer/creative manipulator for Ann Arbor band Aleph-1, I recently finished their full-length album, which was recently released. This track features a lot of granular synthesis and other delay-based manipulations on the drum and background tracks.
