Here’s a remixed version of Fashion’s Latest, which I originally composed and recorded almost 2 years ago, with new additions. Dan Sutherland of the band Aleph-1 played drum kit. This version of the song is to be featured on an upcoming Block-M Records release. Please comment.

I’ve been working on building a wireless, bluetooth accelerometer that could be attached to a guitar or bass so that certain effects could be controlled by the tilt or movement of the guitar. I’ve had some trouble pairing my bluetooth device with Max/MSP, but it works. Initial testing was done with the tilt controlling the pitch, which was pretty interesting way to play a bass. The device uses the popular WiTilt controller. I should be able to post video of the accelerometer in action soon.

This comprovisation is based on an improvised recording session with guitarist Steve Jolly. It still needs some work… hasn’t been completely mastered, etc.
