Happenings Pt. 1

Internet: I’m very sorry that updates have been so infrequent.

Here are some of the things I have been working on lately:

Laurel Premo’s “Stung By the Nettle”, which can be found on iTunes here.

Compass Records is to release Jeremy Kittel’s “Chasing Sparks” in January 2010, which I mixed and mastered in Ann Arbor (though Jeremy and I also did a number of remote streaming sessions together in NYC and San Francisco).

I really love this album all the way through—some of the tracks are almost unbearably beautiful, some are spontaneous and exciting, some are a bit of both.  Jeremy’s an unbelievably talented guy and a dear friend; check out the last track on the album, “The Napkin Tune”:

“The Troubadour”, Drew De Four’s epic concept album will be available in iTunes soon.  I played bass on most of the album, which features some of the finest musicians I know: Theo Katzman, Sara Curtin, Tomek Miernowski, Joey Dosik, Matt Endahl, Katri Ervamaa, Mark Kirshenmann, Brad Phillips, Tom Torrento, Tyler Duncan, Christian Carpenter, Michelle Chamuel, Colleen Curran, Laurel Premo, and Aaron Wolf:

More soon.
